The adoption rate among physicians grows when eHealth is seamlessly integrated into the EMR and truly supports healthcare providers in their work. ConsultAssistent fully plays into this. The platform is integrated with multiple EMRs (including HL7/FHIR) and designed to unburden healthcare providers.

In practice, this means that based on incoming appointment messages, patients are fully automatically invited to the digital history and PROM questionnaires. The outcomes from these questionnaires are processed directly in the EMR, so healthcare providers can always continue to work in their own system.

Integrating ConsultAssistent with the EMR also offers benefits to the IT department. ConsultAssistent is a safe medical device with CE marking and is offered as software as a service (SaaS), minimizing the management burden. Data is stored securely, fully compliant with all standards and on Dutch territory.

Finally, integration with a patient portal and personal health environment (PBL) is possible. Patients can thus work on their health and communicate directly with the hospital from a single online environment. That’s what makes it user-friendly.
