Smart digital PROMs for Ommelander Hospital Groningen

The Ommelander Hospital Groningen strengthens the digital support of the intake and anamnesis process with ConsultAssistent. Since March 1, ConsultAssistent has been used for PROMs at the ophthalmology department. 

Before and after cataract surgery, patients receive a digital PROMs questionnaire. This questionnaire measures the impact of visual impairment on daily functioning. The questionnaires will soon also be available through the My Ommelander digital patient portal and the My Ommelander app.

Ommelander Hospital's ambition is to enable accessible digital contact between patient and health care provider.

The hospital eventually plans to further digitize the intake, anamnesis and follow-up process at all departments in the hospital with ConsultAssistent. The outcome measurements and patient insights can then be applied throughout the hospital for even better decisions. With this, we offer patients the opportunity to take more and more control over their health.
