In June, we at ConsultAssistent once again successfully completed our ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 audit, and this time we took a nice extra step: we transitioned to the latest version of NEN 7510.

Why is that important?

The new standard aligns with the latest ISO 27001 standard and introduces stricter requirements regarding cloud security, threat intelligence, secure data deletion, and supplier security.

For an organization that works with patient data on a daily basis and collaborates closely with hospitals and EHR providers, this hits right at the heart of where the risk truly lies.

Organizations have until February 2027 to make the switch. We felt it was important to do so now.

For us, this is more than just a certificate on the wall. It is proof that we take security and process-based work seriously, as the foundation for everything we build in the realm of digital healthcare solutions.
