“Maastro Takes a Major Step Forward in Value-Based Care Through the Digitization of PROMS”

Maastro Clinic has been using digital PROM questionnaires via ConsultAssistent for nearly a year now. Previously, these PROMs were sent to patients by mail. “Digitizing the questionnaire brings tremendous added value to our process,” emphasizes radiation oncologist Evert van Limbergen.  

In addition to saving time and increasing efficiency, the use of digital PROMs also provides an opportunity to evaluate and, if necessary, improve the quality of care using collected patient data.

Patients are also pleased with this development. Questionnaires are easy and accessible to complete. Patients also have the opportunity to track the progress of their own health, which enhances their understanding of the impact of the disease and treatment. This aligns perfectly with Maastro’s commitment to value-driven, patient-centered care.
