The structured report goes directly into the EMRthrough the configured interface. When AI summaries are also used, the physician reviews the AI summary first; only after that review does the summary go into the EMR. The physician can use the reviewed summary as a basis for their own consultation report. The physician remains responsible. Using standard HL7 and FHIR interfaces supports structured data exchange between the systems.
The technical setup differs per organization. ConsultAssistent can be connected to EMR systems such as ChipSoft HiX, Nexus EPD, and Emma by Timeff. Integrations are also possible with healthcare applications and patient channels, including Indiveo, patient portals such as Enovation, BeterDichtbij and personal health environments (PHEs).
